Geography

Harth

The land of Harth, a long narrow peninsula with imposing mountains to the west and the rolling sea to the east, is a lush continent with seasonal rains that fall twice a year. In addition to thick forests and swaying plains, the southern shores of Harth are a humid collection of marshlands and rivers.

Humans reside the length of Harth, with herdsmen living in the shadow of the mountains, and fishermen sailing along the wind-swept shores. Horse breeders and nomadic hunter/gatherer tribes move from plain to plain. Nestled alongside the many rivers and lakes are farming villages, who trade with their neighbors and nomadic tribes as they follow their herds, and the seasons.

North of Harth are the highlands of Brume. A cool damp land, wrapped in perpetual fog, it is the home of the various Greenskin tribes, as well as the mysterious, mystical Halflings. Greenskins learned agriculture and breeding from their Human neighbors, and while they retained their own varied religious customs, they mimic many Human traits, including the bonds of family.
