Gnoss

The Fire Lord, The Deceiver

Deity of Earth and Fire, Deity of Assassins, Deity of Spies

Gnoss represents the subtle and fickle nature of fire. It can warm your home, cook your food, and consume everything you love. The Fire Lord is often thanked at seasonal festivals, great feasts, and invoked against the worst winter storms. Mercenaries, nomadic swordsmen, and secretive researchers of the arcane take the name, The Deceiver to heart, for often the most successful journey is one that the enemy does not even know occurs. Subterfuge can be just as useful a weapon as a bared blade, and often more satisfying as well. Gnoss is also revered by those whose survival is dependant on knowledge and understanding of earth and fire. Mountain men who dwell in caves, wielding torches as often as blades to keep the creatures of the dark at bay would be considered faithful as well.
