The Fiend, Lord of the Wastes

Deity of Destruction, Deity of Nightmares, Deity of Pain and Suffering

Xrr represents fear, nightmares, and the destruction of body, mind, and spirit. Always whispered, The Fiend is named only by the depraved above ground, and by Blackbloods below ground. The Lord of the Wastes is often called upon to curse one’s enemy, especially if the desire is to cause them to suffer terrible pain, rather than die a quick death. Xrr is always the consequence, never the cause. When a war is waged, a grudge settled, or a revenge dealt, it inevitably will leave only desolation, whether on the land or in the heart. Some whisper it was Xrr that wrought The Fracturing, to extend destruction and suffering to every corner of Harth, but such claims are quickly silenced by those seeking to avoid the memory, or merely to avert the mention of Xrr’s name. What is agreed upon is that The Fiend can never be appeased, never be sated, and never be defeated.
